Warranty Policy
Last updated: November 2025
At EZEBikes360, we sell electric bikes and components from reputable third-party manufacturers, each of which provides its own limited warranty. This policy explains how warranty coverage works for products purchased through our store.
1. General Warranty Overview
All new electric bikes purchased from EZ E-Bikes 360 include a limited manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty coverage, duration, and terms are determined by the specific manufacturer and model.
In general:
- Most frames are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
- Most electrical components (motor, controller, display, wiring) and key parts are covered for a limited period, usually between 1 and 2 years.
Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.
2. Typical Warranty Duration
While exact coverage may vary by brand and model, typical coverage includes:
- Frame: up to 1–2 years limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
- Motor, controller, battery, display, and electrical components: up to 1–2 years limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
Wear items such as tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, grips, and saddles are generally not covered, except in the case of clear manufacturing defects identified shortly after delivery.
For specific models, please refer to the warranty documentation provided by the manufacturer or contact us for details.
3. What Is Covered
The manufacturer’s warranty generally covers:
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
- Defective electrical components (motor, controller, display, wiring) not caused by misuse or improper installation.
- Structural defects in the frame or fork under normal, intended use.
Warranty coverage is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts, at the discretion of the manufacturer.
4. What Is Not Covered
The following are generally not covered under warranty:
- Normal wear and tear (tires, tubes, brake pads, rotors, cables, chains, grips, saddles, paint, decals).
- Damage from accidents, collisions, falls, or improper storage.
- Damage due to misuse, abuse, neglect, or use outside of the bike’s intended purpose.
- Modifications or alterations to the bike, including aftermarket parts not approved by the manufacturer.
- Damage caused by improper assembly, maintenance, or repairs performed by non-authorized technicians.
- Damage from water, weather exposure, corrosion, or improper cleaning.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect function (scratches, chips, fading).
If a returned item is found to have damage not covered by warranty, repair or replacement costs may be the responsibility of the customer.
5. Battery Warranty
E-bike batteries are typically covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for a set period (often up to 1 year, depending on the brand).
Battery warranty does not cover:
- Natural capacity loss over time due to normal use.
- Damage from improper charging, storage, or use.
- Damage from exposure to extreme temperatures, water, or fire.
- Modifications to the battery or use with non-approved chargers.
Battery performance will gradually decrease with use; this normal degradation is not covered under the warranty.
