Unlike basic folding bikes built only for short trips, the META20 includes a torque sensor, hydraulic disc brakes, a large removable battery, front suspension, and a rear cargo rack for practical everyday use.

Compact Without Feeling Underpowered

A 500W rear hub motor with up to 55Nm of torque provides steady assistance for city streets, moderate hills, and neighborhood travel. The standard Class 2 configuration reaches an assisted speed of up to 20 mph.

The torque sensor measures how much pressure you apply to the pedals and adjusts motor support to match your effort. This creates a smoother, more natural riding experience than systems that deliver the same power every time the pedals turn.

A thumb throttle is also available when you want motor assistance without continuous pedaling.

A Large Battery with an Optional Range Upgrade

The META20 includes a removable 48V 15Ah Samsung lithium-ion battery. The battery can be unlocked and charged indoors, allowing you to leave the bike in a garage, storage area, or vehicle.

The bike also supports an optional second 48V 15Ah battery, sold separately. When equipped with both batteries, the manufacturer estimates a maximum range of up to 100 miles under favorable conditions. The standard configuration includes one battery.

The front suspension fork and 20-by-3-inch tires help reduce vibration from cracked pavement, bumps, and light unpaved surfaces. The tires provide more cushioning and stability than narrow commuter tires without becoming as bulky as traditional four-inch fat tires.

Hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors deliver responsive stopping control, while motor-cutoff switches interrupt electric assistance when the brakes are applied.

The folding frame reduces the bike to approximately 41.3 inches long, 30.7 inches high, and 22 inches wide. This makes it easier to fit inside many trunks, apartment entryways, RV compartments, and office storage areas.

At approximately 63.4 pounds, the META20 is compact rather than lightweight. It is best for reducing storage space, not regularly carrying up several flights of stairs.
